From the moment the kick drum dropped, it was like being swept into an electrified jungle—synths roared, basslines thundered, and every beat felt sculpted by hand. Röyksopp’s devotion to analogue gear shaped the atmosphere into something primal, hypnotic, and undeniably physical.

Since forming in 1998, Röyksopp has been a constant in electronic music—a group that’s both nostalgic and trailblazing. Their sonic DNA is steeped in 70s and 80s textures, and the ghosts of Kraftwerk, Pink Floyd, and King Crimson echoed throughout the night.

The setlist was immersive—though, admittedly, the absence of “Oh, Lover” stung. That duet with Susanne Sundfør is a standout in their catalog.

Instead, “Stay Awhile” from Profound Mysteries III held the emotional core, earning its reputation as a setlist staple.
